Frequently Asked Questions for Human PEMF Sessions

How does a person receive PEMF Therapy?

A gentle pulsing electromagnetic field is created on a full-body mat, rocking chair or various applicators that are placed around the problem area. The magnetic field is adjusted to a very comfortable level and you simply lie back and relax. Positive results have been experienced in as little as 10 minutes! Many people liken it to the feeling of a Deep Tissue Massage.

What do I remove before a session?

Make sure you check your pockets and person and remove jewelry, watches, cell phones, credit cards and car key fobs. Place them about a foot away from the system. Also, people with electrical implants (pacemakers, cochlear implants) cannot use a PEMF device.

What should I expect after my first session?

PEMF can have a wide range of biologic effects. An individual’s diet, lifestyle, level of activity, hydration, general health, stress levels and the quality of your nutrition all contribute to how it will work and how you feel after your sessions. PEMF Exercise can help you feel energized, and this feeling can build for a few hours after a session.

If you feel tired after a session, this may be due to a detox reaction. Your body wants to clean house and is getting rid of toxins. Resting and drinking plenty of fluids may support this detox reaction.

How long is a session?

We offer 30 and 60 minute sessions, but recommend 60 minute sessions. It is not possible to over-charge a cell. The more PEMF sessions you can complete closer together the better your results.

When will the results of a PEMF session be seen or felt?

Results are usually immediate. Some chronic issues may take more sessions for noticeable results but there is always some positive effect from a PEMF session. As the blood is oxygenated and circulation is increased, improvement will continue to improve for up to 72 hours after a whole body session.
